Andrea P. Frazier, RN, CCM, MS, MBA, Ed.D., founder and CEO of Andrea Frazier and Associates, LLC (AFA) an independent medical management company who has over twenty- eight years of healthcare experience in both the academic and business world. Andrea  and AFA have a proven track record with managed care organizations, hospitals and physician groups in areas of Utilization Management, Case Management, Quality Management, Auditing, Medical Transcription, Onsite Concurrent Review, HEDIS reviews and abstraction, Workers Compensation Services, Analysis of any area of the Revenue Cycle, Coding and Billing which encompasses claims denial review, billing errors and resubmission of denied claims for coding or medical appeals.   

Andrea received her nursing degree from St. Mary’s College and her undergraduate business degree from Sterling Presbyterian College. She obtained her master’s degree in Health Management, MBA and a Doctor of Education from Lindenwood University in St Charles, Missouri. 

She is a Certified Case Manager, a Certified Professional in Utilization Review, a Certified Managed Care Nurse and a Medical Legal Consultant. She was named in Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare in 1997/1998 and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. Andrea is actively involved in speaking to both physicians and health care majors about the impact of quality on managed care.

Currently, she is the Director of LCIE Graduate and Evening Admissions and Assistant Professor, for Lindenwood University- Belleville, Illinois. Andrea serves as a Faculty Advisor for Lindenwood University. As a Professor, Andrea teaches Quality Improvement, Health Management, Health Care Legal Issues, and Organizational Behavior to both graduate and undergraduate students.  She began her academic career at Washington University School of Health Administration. 

Andrea is also an investor and consultant for Healthy Me Mobile Solutions, a St. Louis based health technology company, which focuses on patient-centered lifestyle modification. She serves as a board member on the Family Resource Center of St. Louis, a non-for-profit organization that is dedicated to the treatment and prevention of child abuse and neglect, the St. Louis Alzheimer’s Association and a dedicated professional of the medical management and healthcare arena both locally and nationally.
